The India Art Fair is One of the world's most well-attended and talked annual events that showcases the best of art in all forms- from emerging to well-known artists, from premium to luxury brands. The fair held a VIP preview for the media and special guests a day before the fair on 29th January. The Press registrations were done online and that's how I landed up at the preview.

Amazed to see all the beauty around me, I couldn't help but take a few snaps to take back home. It was very well organised and a paradise for art enthusiasts. It was the 7th Edition of the fair, and my first experience at the annual event. The line up of food joints was also quite interesting with the best and top rated hotels/cafes serving the hoi polloi of Delhi in cozy little shacks. 

VIP guests included Indian art legends SH Raza and Satish Gujral, designer JJ Vallaya, model Sheetal Mallar, former Miss-India Manpreet Brar,Maneka Gandhi, make-up artist Shanaz Husein and Sweta Nanda (Bachchan).

I also witnessed the Closing party of The India Art Fair at Hotel Le Meridien, Connaught Place with my mom. It was an upscale social gathering that was very well attended and I could spot many familiar faces from Page3. It was a happening place to be, with good feet-tapping music and irresistible food ( I couldn't pronounce the names of half of the things, but hey, I'm still learning). It was a night I'll always remember.
